Nooshin Valizadeh

Dr. Nooshin Valizadeh is a lecturer for the Doctor of Education and Master of Education programs at the USC Rossier School of Education. Her teaching background and areas of research and expertise include: finance, diversity and inclusion, science identity, issues of gender and racial equity in higher education and college student experiences with regard to underrepresented students in STEM majors and careers. As a faculty affiliate for the Center for Education, Identity and Social Justice at USC, Dr. Valizadeh leads monthly spoken word events with a focus on identity and social justice issues known as “Spoken Justice.” She is also on the Advisory Board of Peace Over Violence, a social service agency dedicated to the elimination of sexual and domestic violence.
